CFA Course
The CFA is a globally recognized professional certification offered by the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute. The CFA program has 3 levels each focusing on different aspects of financial analysis, valuation, and portfolio management. Students need to spend at least 300 hours of dedicated study time for each level. It takes around 2-4 years to complete the CFA course.

Here’s everything you need to know about the CFA Course
To be eligible for the CFA Level 1 exam, you must meet the following requirements:

Education:
For CFA level 1 exam, your selected exam window must be 23 months or fewer before your graduation month for your bachelor’s degree or equivalent program.
CFA Level 1 Registration and fees:
- Early Registration : $1,140.
- Standard Registration : $1,490.
- Rescheduling Fee : $250.
CFA Level 1 Exam Details:
Exam Mode
- The CFA exam is broken up into two sections, each lasting 2 hours and 15 minutes.
- Between the two sessions, there is an optional break.
- Exam is conducted at Prometric Centers.
Exam Period
- The exam is held four times a year, in February, May, August, and November
Exam Pattern
- The exam tests you on 10 topics
- The exam does not use "except", "true", or "false" in items
- The exam does not use "all of the above", "none of the above", or similar answer options
- The exam is the first of three levels in the CFA exam
Pass Criteria
- Following each exam administration, the minimum passing score (MPS) for the CFA Level 1 exam is determined and typically ranges from 60% to 70%.

CFA Course
The CFA- Chartered Financial Analyst is a professional course accredited by the US-based CFA Institute, it provides CFA certification and recognition to candidates after clearing the CFA examinations.
It takes three to four years to complete all three levels of the CFA Program. This takes into account the recommended study time of 300 hours per level.To become a member and use the CFA Charterholder designation, you also need at least 4,000 hours of relevant work experience, completed in a minimum of 36 months. Work experience can be obtained whilst you study.
The CFA exams are conducted throughout the year at specified months for each exam level. - Level 1- February, May, August, and November - Level 2- May, August and November - Level 3- February and August.
Based on exam fees, it costs USD 3520 – 4,600 to complete all three levels of the CFA Program and become a Charterholder (depending on whether you register for your exams during the Early or Standard registration period). All fees are paid in US dollars.
